We’ve come across a few exciting new solutions for people searching for a solution to acne. While we have loads of articles with detailed information below, we also recognise that changing your diet is an extremely hard and slow process. Our readers were giving us the feedback that they were looking for quicker solutions to go hand in hand with our detailed acne diet titbits.

We scoured the net and found the two best solutions we think are available and we strongly suggest you check them out. When you click on the blue links below a new window will open so you don’t have to worry about losing us!

1) Acne No More:

Acne no more has some bold claims to:

Permanently Cure Your Acne Within 2 Months

End The Breakouts & See Results In Less Than 7 Days!

Eliminate Blackheads, Excessive Oiliness and Redness

Remove Most Types of Scars and Acne Marks

Look Better, Feel Better and Regain Your Self Esteem

Improve The Quality Of Your Life Dramatically!

Step-By-Step Fully Illustrated Guides

We were a little sceptical too!

We did some research, however, and they checked out. Their reviews and hindreds of testimonials are all legit and they all attest to the success of the system in eliminating acne in under 90 days – often as quick as 60.

The great thing about this solution is there is a fantastic free video that gives plenty of information. Click this link to see the free video and learn more about the solution.

2) Pantothen

Pantothen is a completely different solution as’s a major brand that is extremely well known. It is a 100% natural remedy. In the words of the manufacturer:

Coenzyme-A breaks down excess oil in your skin before it turns into acne. Unfortunately, the body only produces enough Coenzyme-A to deal with a normal amount of oil. When your body’s oil production increases, there is usually not enough Coenzyme-A to deal with it before infection occurs.

Coenzyme-A is made of two distinct molecules – adenine triphosphate and pantothenic acid. The good news is that your body is filled with adenine triphosphate. So, as soon as you put more pantothenic acid into your body, it will bind with the adenine triphosphate and naturally create more Coenzyme-A. The additional Coenzyme-A then destroys the excess oils in your skin, making acne a thing of the past.

But, there’s more. It’s not enough simply to make your body create more Coenzyme-A; you need to direct the oils to Coenzyme-A to get them broken down. One way is to simply flood your body with high levels of pantothenic acid, but that can lead to stomach problems and bloating.

We found out that a better way is to send the oils down the body’s natural pathway to Coenzyme-A. The body naturally uses L-Carnitine to move oils to Coenzyme-A glands. But, your body usually doesn’t have enough L-Carnitine to deal with excess oil.

Therefore, our research team combined pantothenic acid with L-Carnitine to form “Pantothen’. They found that this newly formulated combination works very efficiently in breaking down oils in the skin and preventing acne from breaking out.

All of acnedietshq’s research uncovered glowing feedback about this solution so we strongly recommend you at least head over to their web page and check it out. They very often have some great offers on for you to try it out and rid yourself of that acne quickly.

Click here to access their website and any offers on Pantothen

Best of Luck,

An Acne Diet:

It has been said that the best way to stop acne is to prevent it from starting, and one of the best ways to do just that is through an acne diet. Rather than attempting to deal with acne once it begins to occur, there are other natural ways one can go about to prevent acne from starting at all.

Nonetheless, if you are already suffering from acne, these methods may still be useful for you. Not many people know that some of the causes behind the formation of acne are actually internal and are lagely influenced by diet. This is why taking care of your body is so vital to the process of stopping acne from starting. If you give your body the care it needs and deserves, you help it prevent and fight acne. Consulting your dermatologist is another good way to help you determine how to treat your skin, as often times the severity and type of acne differs from one person to another.

Vitamins and Minerals

Taking specific vitamins and minerals can be helpful in the prevention of the onset of acne as they create internal changes in one’s body. Studies have shown that vitamin B6 and zinc are useful in balancing out one’s hormones. Hormones can play a part in the formation of acne. Zinc has also been found to decrease irritation and inflammation in a person’s skin. Research also tells us that vitamin A is a useful agent in decreasing the amount of sebum that the body makes. Sebum is a substance that contributes to the skin’s oiliness and subsequently, the formation of acne. Nerys Purchon, author of the Essential Natural Health Bible, writes in her book that that evening primrose capsules and a multi-vitamin containing vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin E can be beneficial in the prevention of the onset of acne when taken on a daily basis. Therefore a good part of a balanced acne diet.

Herbs and Essential Oils

Plants, especially in the form of herbs and essential oil forms can also work wonders to stop acne from starting. According to the Adult Acne Treatment, Prevention and Information resource, a significant number of acne medications available in the market contain acne-fighting herbs in their ingredients. Experts recommend the application of herbs such as yellow dock, burdock, sarsaparilla and cleavers on one’s skin as these perform both the job of removing toxins and bringing oxygen and other nutrients to the skin. Take note that certain essential oils may need to be diluted in base oil or water before they can be applied to one’s skin. It is also advisable to test a small area of your skin for allergic reaction before applying the herbs or oils to a larger area.

Acne Diet:

When the food that you consume is healthy, this plays an invaluable role in cleansing your body and preventing the onset of acne. Before anything else, drink copious amounts of water. Water is an irreplaceable source of moisture for the skin and also completes the job of cleansing it. This is essential for a balanced acne diet. Fill up on fibre—this can be gathered from fruit and vegetable sources. Fibre works in such a manner that it removes harmful toxins from the body that can otherwise contribute to the formation of acne. Antioxidants can stop acne from starting by fighting off free radicals that can do harm to one’s skin and are a good part of an acne diet. Many types of fruit provide high levels of antioxidants. Some experts recommend reducing the amount of unhealthy food one consumes and replacing it with more abundant portions of fruits and vegetables. If possible, eliminate or at least reduce your consumption of foods that are high in sugar and dairy. Replace ‘junk food’ or food that is high in preservatives or additives with more organic or healthier choices such as dried fruits and nuts.

Many people recommend drinking green tea and adding it as a staple to one’s diet because of the catechins found in it—catechins are a chemical that calms inflammation in the skin. Use olive oil as a substitute for other cooking oils as it contains fatty acids that are beneficial to a person’s health.

Health

All in all, a person’s overall health has a significant effect on his or her skin. This means that your overall health plays a part in either the prevention or formation of acne on your skin. High stress levels, constant lack of sleep, and being sick all play a part in negatively impacting one’s skin. To nip acne in the bud and stop it from starting all together, it is best to get in a good amount of exercise regularly, sleep for at least eight hours each night, and find positive ways to combat stress effectively. All these preventive measures help your body stay healthy and aid in the prevention of acne. Because the formation of acne is linked to hormones, taking care of your body and maintaining a healthy lifestyle will help your body deal with overactive or abnormal hormones. As you embark on your acne diet, keep all these tips in mind and hopefull.

What exactly is an acne diet and how does it benefit people?

While there is some relationship that exists between acne and nutrition, there is little credible research available that provides links between certain food groups and the development of acne. If you are a person that suffers from acne, figuring out which foods trigger the development of acne can be done through a process of trial and error – or by in investing in the right research, products or information that will cut down your learning time about acne diets.

This means that in order to find out which foods may be triggering your body to develop acne, it will be necessary to rule out all possible food groups that are known to cause acne through an acne diet. This can be done over a period of one to two weeks. During this period, you will observe a noticeable improvement in your skin complexion and the acne diet you are currently on should be maintained until your skin is totally clear of any visible blemishes.

Once your skin is clear, you can begin testing the different foods that are known to cause acne such as oily foods, salty foods, and foods that are high in refined sugars. After the trial and error process, you are free to either maintain your current acne diet or stay off all foods that are known to cause acne completely. In any case, what is important is that you are aware of what tends to cause acne in your skin and avoid those particular foods.

Foods to Avoid on an Acne Diet:

Naturally oily skin is exacerbated by the consumption of food that contains saturated fats and trans fats. Many animal products (e.g. meats, dairy and poultry) contain saturated fats. Nonetheless, keep in mind that the body requires other essential fatty acids such as those that are found in flaxseed, fish or hempseed oil.

A high calorie intake is believed by others to contribute to increased hormone levels and therefore lead to more break-outs, but this so far is unsubstantiated by any concrete research. Another popular belief that is said to be false is the so-called relationship between eating chocolates and candy and developing acne. One thing is true though—chocolate does contain a significant amount of saturated fats.

Foods to Try on an Acne Diet:

A recommended period to try an acne diet would be a time span of two weeks. During this season, consume as many well-ripened fruits and vegetables as you would like. A salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, avocados, and chives dressed with olive oil is also known to work wonders for one’s skin. Raw fish such as sashimi is also a good food group to include in an acne diet.

If you are not comfortable with eating raw fish, there is a substitute and that is egg yolks. Men are recommended to consume five egg yolks a day at the most while women are recommended to have two at the most. It is important not to consume more than the recommended allowance as excessive levels of protein in the body will cause the skin to retain more water than it needs to and pinch off sebum canals in the skin.

A diet that is high in protein is recommended to assist in controlling acne. The reason behind this may be the decreased production of a certain enzyme as more protein is consumed by the body, as the enzyme is responsible for higher levels of oil production, therefore causing higher chances of clogging pores. A diet that consists of no more than 50 percent carbohydrates is recommended as well.

When on an acne diet, keep in mind as well that sugars should always be combined with fats. This means that when you eat nuts, you should couple them with dried fruits or a similar food of that sort. Similarly, if you eat a cucumber-tomato salad, it is a good idea to throw in some avocado as well. To simplify matters, you can also just combine olive oil with orange juice. What is important is to stabilize one’s blood sugar levels while on an acne diet.

Acne Treatments and Vitamins

It is advisable not to use any topical or hormonal treatment whilst on an acne diet as these can sometimes aggravate acne problems. You should also taper off antibiotics during the two-week period as antibiotics weaken one’s defence system and this can lead to problems when consuming fresh raw egg yolks or raw fish.

Some people have recommended the inclusion of additional vitamin A and zinc in one’s diet in order to help with acne. Green tea can also be served alongside meals and can be helpful as it leads to a decrease in the production of androgen hormones. Some people who suffer from acne have also claimed that a decrease in iodine levels in their diet lessened their acne breakouts significantly. People who are on an acne diet are also discouraged from consuming very salty foods such as chips and the like.

Acne Diet: How Is Acne Caused?

Many people look to an acne diet as a solution to their acne problems. However, before anything else, what exactly is acne and how is it caused?

Acne is a condition of the skin that causes the formation of the blackheads, whiteheads and inflamed red growths such as cysts, papules and pustules in the skin. These are more commonly known as pimples or zits.

Causes

The occurrence of acne can be attributed to the clogging of one’s pores or the tiny holes found on the surface of the skin. In every pore there is an opening to a follicle and these follicles contain an oil gland and a hair. These oil glands assist in lubrication of the skin and the removal of dead or old skin cells. When there is an overproduction of oil by the glands, blockage occurs in the pores. This causes a build up of bacteria, debris, dirt and inflammatory cells.

The build up or blockage is called a comedone or a plug. The top of the plug may turn out to be either white or black. If it is the former, it turns into a whitehead. If it is the latter, it is a blackhead. Should the plug break open, red bumps will form as a result of the swelling of the material inside. If the inflammation runs deep into the skin, the pimples may enlarge to form cysts that may be painful.

Contrary to popular belief, acne is not a problem caused by bacteria but by inflammation and swelling. It occurs most commonly amongst teenagers but can occur at any age, even in an infant. Statistics show that three out of four teenagers have some form of acne. Changes in one’s hormones also cause increased oil production in the skin but again, even people in their 30’s and 40’s are not exempt from being afflicted with acne. Your acne diet can have a big influence too.

The acne problem tends to be a hereditary problem and can be triggered by:

High levels of sweating and humidity

Certain types of drugs (e.g. oestrogen, phenytoin, testosterone and steroids)

Hormonal changes from pregnancy, stress, menstrual periods or the use of birth control pills

Greasy hair products and pore-clogging cosmetic products

Symptoms

While it is more common for acne to appear on a person’s face and shoulders, it is also possible for it occur on the arms, back, legs and buttocks.

Scarring of the skin

Blackheads

Whiteheads

Crusting of skin bumps

Redness around skin eruption

Cysts

Pustules

Papules

Signs and Tests

While a qualified physician or medical practitioner can perform the job of diagnosing acne, testing is not usually required as acne is normally distinguishable at face value, so to speak.

Treatment

Get in the habit of cleansing your face with a gentle, non-drying soap such as Cetaphil, Dove or any other unscented mild soap or facial cleanser. Thoroughly remove all make-up and dirt on your face. While it is important to wash your face at least twice a day (especially after sweating profusely), be sure not to scrub too roughly or wash your face more often than that as this may do more harm than good for your face.

Wash your hair with a mild shampoo daily. This is especially important if your hair tends to become oily. If your hair is long, make sure to pull it back to keep it out of your face.

Consider a decent acne diet that inlude a good blend of the right foods proven to reduce the breakouts associated with acne.

Do not:

Attempt to pick, squeeze, rub or scratch your pimples. While it may seem like the quicker solution, it can eventually lead to scarring and skin infections, leaving you with a bigger problem than what you started out with.

Wear tight-fitting headbands, hats or other caps.

Touch your face with your hands or fingers especially if you know they are dirty.

Use greasy hair products and oily cosmetic products. Be sure to horoughly remove all make-up on your face before going to bed. Purchase water-based or noncomedogenic facial products. Noncomedogenic products have been tested over time and proven not to clog pores and cause acne.

Should these measures prove to be futile in clearing up the blemishes, try using over-the-counter acne medications. These may be applied directly to one’s skin.

Over-the-counter acne medications typically contain resorcinol, sulphur, salicylic acid or benzyl peroxide.

They work by causing peeling on the top layer of skin, drying up skin oils and killing bacteria.

It is normal for redness to occur as a result of using these medications.

Expectations (Prognosis)

While acne usually disappears after the adolescent stage, it is possible for it to remain through middle age. The condition normally responds to treatment after six to eight weeks but it may recur or flare up once in awhile.

Acne Diet:

While there is no solid evidence confirming the popular beliefs that chocolate, nuts and other greasy foods cause acne, research shows that diets that are high in refined sugars may be a probable culprit for people who are experiencing acne problems. Therefore, it is necessary to thoroughly research into a good acne diet rather than leaving things to chance. In any case, it is advisable that one do proper and sufficient research before embarking on just any so-called acne diet.

If you wish to get rid of acne and want to stop it fast, here are several tips to help you jumpstart your acne diet:

Acne Diet:

1. Fresh Fruit, Vegetables, Seeds and Nuts

Start increasing the variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, seeds and nuts in your acne diet. Going healthy does not necessarily have to be a painful process. Get creative and do research on possible smoothies and juices you can come up with using ripe fruits and vegetables. Snack on seeds and nuts instead of reaching out for a packet of sweets, crisps or other processed foods. Try to have at least one salad per day along with your main meal. Brazil nuts and pumpkin seeds are especially beneficial to one’s skin as they contain selenium (Brazil nuts) and zinc (pumpkin seeds). Studies have shown that deficiencies in both these minerals may contribute to the formation of acne – so incorporate them into your acne diet!

2. Water

It is a well-known fact that drinking copious amounts of water is extremely beneficial to one’s health, but you would be surprised as to how many people neglect this nugget of truth. Aim to drink at least 0.44 gallons of water per day. This will prevent your skin from becoming dehydrated. Dehydration leads to dead skin cells which means skin does not shed properly, and pores becomes blocked and increase the formation of acne. So drink up to accelerate the success of your acne diet.

3. Pro-biotics and Pre-biotics

If you are trying to get rid of acne and get rid of it fast, taper off antibiotics. Antibiotics perform the job of destroying bacteria in one’s digestive system and this can lead to constipation, reduced absorption of essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients and poor digestion. All these effects can eventually lead to increased acne as the body is unable to effectively get rid of the waste and toxins are instead released through the skin. Obviously, this result is undesirable for a person who is trying to get rid of acne. If you have been taking antibiotics to cure your acne, it is essential that the good bacteria in your digestive system be replaced immediately. You can do this by picking up a good quality pro-biotic at the chemist.

Good bacteria can also be re-established by consuming certain foods such as onions, bananas, honey and artichokes. Eating foods that contain pro-biotic properties and taking a pro-biotic supplement will aid the body in replenishing sufficient levels of good bacteria that were destroyed by taking antibiotics. This is essential for a balanced acne diet.

4. Vitamins and Minerals

Sometimes, the food that we consume is not sufficient to provide our bodies with the level of vitamins and minerals that it needs in order to function at its prime. Having said that, it is advisable to include a multivitamin in our daily diets that has vitamin B6, vitamin C and vitamin E present in it. These, taken with evening primrose capsules come highly recommended by nutrition expert Nerys Purchon and are said to be helpful in aiding the prevention of acne. Research has also shown that the consumption of vitamin B6 and zinc are useful in balancing out one’s hormone levels.

5. Use Natural Products on Your Skin

With the limitless choices of skin/cosmetic products available in the market today, it’s easy to get caught up and purchase the items that are most popular or seem the most attractive. Do not make the mistake of falling into that trap as many items on the market today contain chemicals that tend to do more harm than good to one’s skin. Over-saturating your skin with chemicals strips the skin of its natural oils and dries it out. This leads the skin to compensate by producing more oil, which equals to the blockage of pores and eventually, the formation of acne. Opt instead for products that contain natural ingredients such as tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is known for its antibacterial properties. A good rule of thumb to apply is to use as few products as possible on your face. This is vital and gives your skin the chance to recover on its own. If you wish to wear make-up, make sure that you pick out a brand that is noncomedogenic so the formula doesn’t block out your pores.

Other Considerations For An Acne Diet:

No matter how much effort you put into eating the right foods and picking out the right products for your skin, all these will be in vain if your stress levels are at a peak. Having said that, try to engage in activities that will help lower your stress levels and help you release your anxieties in a positive manner. One way you can do this is by ensuring that you get sufficient exercise. Join yoga class or do some research and engage in relaxation techniques that involve breathing exercises or meditation.

If you are a coffee drinker, try to reduce your caffeine intake by limiting your daily dose to half a cup per day. If possible, try to eliminate coffee and chocolate from your acne diet completely as high caffeine levels lead to increased stress hormone levels, which in turn aggravates acne.

Lastly, top off your acne diet with some vitamin D by heading out outside and getting a little sunshine and fresh air.
